I am happy to be joining a group that gives a voice to those who have had to remain silent for so long. Ethnically I am half Afghan and half Indian. Raised in the US, I am eager to hear your stories of South Asia and learn more about my Indian roots. Seattle has been my home for the past 19 years. I have attended and sponsored events with Trikone for many years now, and have always walked away with a little more sense of self. I have my own unique story of having to be quiet and conform. I am excited to hear about the journeys of others, and in the process learn more about myself.
 

I have owned and managed Cafe Argento in Seattle for 7 plus years now. Cafe Argento will now serve as the location for TrikoneNW's Office, as well as a safe place for our community to meet. This is an incredible chance for me to be part of something that elevates all of us. It is time for those of us who have found our voice to listen to and empower others!
